Using the VMware Horizon View Manager/Administrator
The VMware Horizon View Administrator is available to practice managers to reset locked virtual desktops. If you do not have the VMware HV Manager icon on your desktop please contact our help desk on 1300 300 497.
Double click the Horizon Admin icon on your desktop
Enter your normal VMware username & password, tick the Remember user name box then click Sign In
To view the user Logs, select Desktops, then click on your desktop pool name:
Click on the Sessions tab to view the users currently connected to the system.
Session status can be determined by checking the Session State column - Disconnected sessions can be logged off to reclaim concurrent use licenses for other users.
To logoff a session, check the box next the specified user, then press the Logoff Session button.
Refresh the page at any time by clicking the refresh icon located in the top right hand side of the window
User session logs can be reviewed by selecting the Events tab - this is especially useful for auditing login/logout times for staff or for troubleshooting purposes.
