Changing Display Protocol to BLAST (in VMware Horizon Client)

VMware’s BLAST Display Protocol offers better performance over slower connections than the default PCoIP Protocol.

Note this is only available in Horizon View version 7.0.2, please contact our helpdesk if the below options are not available.

 

To switch from the detault PCoIP Protocol:

Login to the VMware Horizon Client with your usual credentials

Right click the computer icon with your desktop pool label underneath. Select VMware Blast. Double click the computer icon to login.
