Email authentication displays an error when clicking the link

If users don’t have their BYOD available, but have access to their external email they can use the Email authentication option when signing into the VMware Horizon Client.

Users enter their Horizoncloud username as normal but append ,email to the end of their normal password.

Users then receive the below Email authentication:

In some instances if using the Outlook client, or users have email with Office365 with organizational policies for clicking external links in an email - they may receive the following confirmation once clicking on the Sign In button

Workaround

Users are to proceed as normal with the email authentication option as outlined in the Email MFA documentation, this confirmation message can be ignored.
