V18 | Record a Welcome (Intro) Prompt for 3CX Call Queue
To record new audio messages for a call queue in 3CX please follow the below guide.
Login to your 3CX Phone System Management Portal (Google Chrome is recommended)

Select Call Queues on the left sidebar, and then Edit your previously created call queue. Alternatively click Add to create a new call queue if required:
Tick the Play Intro Prompt checkbox and several options will become available - Upload, Download, Play and Record. We want to record a new welcome message for our call queue so press Record:
Give the recording a name, then select the phone extension that you would like to record the message on. Once complete press the OK button - 3CX will then initiate a call to the requested extension to record the message. Answer the call and follow the prompts to record your message, press # once you have finished talking. You will then be prompted with the following options:
Press 0: Save your recording in 3CX
Press 1: Repeat the process and re-record you message
Press 2: Verify what you have recorded by playing back the message.
Once the recording has been saved in 3CX (pressing 0) the message name will now be visible in the Play Intro Prompt drop down menu. Select the recorded file, then press OK at the top of the screen to save your changes:
